Antiemetics trouble

What I still have trouble understanding is why are antiemetics mentioned in the SN megathread as being rather expensive even than the SN itself.
I got mine(2 10mg tablets) for just 2 dollars worth here in Kenya,EA. It's metoclopramide by metcos and yes it is a dopamine antagonist. I was just wondering if I've got the wrong kind because it wasn't that expensive.

It's not dirt cheap like over here, i also got mine for the equivalent of 0.2 cent us per strip, but the problem is it's more restricted than expensive and needs prescription which doctors are reluctant to give.

1)different drugs have different prices depending on where they are obtained
2)in some parts of the world access to them is restricted which causes shipping cost to increase. "Special fees" for doctors to actually prescribe them might also apply.
