I've literally just had 2 cops show up at my door at 11pm at night (while my dad was home) saying they knew of an order of SN sent to my address in January, had to play dumb to my dad and make up a story about how "my email must of been hacked", now I'm going to have to hide my SN somewhere outside the house, fuck this bastard authoritarian police state government I hate them so much.

Please, I just want to fucking die, now because of my fascist scumbag government I'm probably going to get committed to some psychiatric hospital full of violent psychopaths, fuck this scumbag government I swear to god.

Honestly, they are scum. You're absolutely right to feel violated because that was a violation.

The level of detail they had? That doesn't come from random surveillance or good guesswork. That kind of information like what was ordered, the date, the source, the shipping details likely came from the storefront itself. Whether it was willingly handed over under pressure or exposed through server seizures, someone gave them the list. Most likely the hosting provider or backend service for DMC's storefront. Once that data's in the hands of Interpol or a Commonwealth friendly agency, it trickles down to domestic police. UK, Canada, Australia everyone in lockstep.

Getting out, if that's what brings you peace, makes complete sense. The UK has become a place where even the idea of death with dignity is treated like terrorism.

Yeah, I'm guessing DMC has been compromised and the authorities have the names and addresses of everyone who ordered from them, that would explain the deluge of recent posts on "welfare checks".

Update: the fucking pigs showed up AGAIN at my house today, thankfully I was home alone, they claimed they needed to pay a "follow-up visit " to "obtain more information" (which was bullshit because they asked the same questions as did the officers who first visited me, confirm this is your address, are you actively suicidal etc), they wanted to search the house, I told them I didn't consent, they even wanted my phone number the fucking creeps.

This is a reminder to all UK users that the same could happen to you, even if you ordered your SN months ago, obviously some sort of data breach has occurred, if they pay you a visit deny everything and don't let them in your house, also USE A VPN to access this site as we are clearly living in a fucking police state.

I will do friend, it's not in my house anymore so they won't find anything, remember you have the right to refuse them to come in unless they have a warrant or a court order (which I very much doubt they would go to the effort of obtaining for a so-called "welfare check", but then again our police are busybody nosey arseholes, so you never know).

He said that no one else had told him, which surprised me at some level, because there were reports of welfare checks prior to mine. The he asked me if I had any thoughts or ideas of how to avoid customs inspections, which I didn't, so I didn't ask him to try resending. You can write off one order as a really bad day, but 2 is a pattern. It's also almost certainly illegal to try and evade Customs. There's also the possibility that he was arrested and someone else was making the replies.
