I've also had COVID before. In the first few days, I almost died from the fever, and then afterward, I nearly suffocated from the coughing.
The constant coughing made me taste blood in my throat. I hope you recover quickly.

I am late to this, but make sure that you are not exerting yourself too much after getting COVID. There are several people who have gotten ME/CFS that I know of that exerted themselves (exercised, did strenuous activity, etc.), even if it was a couple weeks after their infection. They say to wait a month or two, if possible. I know it's not entirely doable a lot of the time, but holding off on it may be able to save you even more stress.
