About crying

Is it worse for you to not be able to stop crying or not be able to cry when you really need to? I think it's the 2nd for me because it can lead to doing worse things like sh for a release. Also any tips for crying when you can't? I really want to cry

Watch movies or shows that have heartwrenching moments lol, for me its the first one thats worse.

I have sobbed my heart out and felt like my whole being was being torn apart and could not have tears nor grief. There is no greater emotional pain than the inability to express it.

I cry multiple times a day because I have major depressive disorder. Sometimes I wish I couldn't cry because it's hard to control in inappropriate situations, like at work or in a store ect

I couldn't cry sometimes too, yes watching depressing movies or shows helps you cry.

Sometimes I want to cry to not feel numb anymore and to feel human again.

Movie suggestion: I recently cried like crazy to Capernaum, it's an arabic movie with antinatalist tones if you align with it.

My show suggestions would be Bojack Horseman, it can be funny but it can get really dark and relatable.

There are a lot of manga which can make you bawl your eyes out.
Oyasami punpun did it for me.

If anime, Welcome to NHK, Dororo and Neon Genesis Evangelion did it for me.
