This is 25 Grams of just regular table salt being scaled out. This just gives me an idea of what the SN would perhaps be like and it just seems a bit much… I mixed it in my measuring cup with 75ML of water…

This is not even lethal and it still makes me feel uneasy having to drink something like this.

Part of me feels like it could be done if you just down it quickly without any second thought and just deal with the aftermath from there.

But how did we even come up with this figure? I know it's based on the PPH, but we've seen just even 5 grams be enough, or even capsules working in some cases, and I wonder why we haven't questioned the 25 grams some more and try to go with some lower dosage as the standard protocol.

Trying to drag myself out of the garbage

"The 25 gram recommendation is from the PPH and meant to be a saturation dose so enough absorbs even if the person throws up. People have died accidentally from 1 gram and eating homemade sausage with too much SN used as a preservative. It's not something to f#ck around with and do a practice run or taste test."

For me it would be just two big fast sips, I don't think lesser grams would make it that much easier tbh.

Yes 25g is a lot when measured out but the mix seems to be a bit more clearer? than that with sn from others goodbye threads and tastes less salty than what that one would.

Here is a quick search...
"Sodium nitrite has a lower whiteness than table salt, with transparent crystals that turn pale yellow after some time. 3. Taste test: Both table salt and Sodium nitrite have a salty taste, but Sodium nitrite is milder and less salty than table salt."
